Prairie Houses: This development was chosen over several competing designs because of the positive statement its presence lends to the historic community of Oak Park. Comprised of nine townhouses, Prairie Houses’ L-shaped complex wraps around the corner of Austin and Division. Designed in the Frank Lloyd Wright style of architecture, Prairie Houses offered affordably priced housing and a dramatic gateway to Oak Park.
